Daikan, a ramen bar and, at the time of the brand revisit, upcoming izakaya, underwent a brand strategy and streamlining process. The project included the development of distinct identities for both the ramen bar and izakaya, drawing inspiration from the brand’s profound admiration for 90s hip hop. In addition, the design elements were subtly influenced by the underground Japanese scene, further adding depth and authenticity to the brand’s visual identity. The result is a cohesive and captivating brand that reflects the vibrant culture of both hip-hop and the underground Japanese scene, setting the stage for an immersive dining experience.
